Creative agencies, such as Google and Facebook, took the lead and developed applications for their customers in early 2010s. There is no lacking in the investment placed.

VR on its growth

The Moore’s Law and Law of Accelerating Returns suggest that technology grows exponentially. Positive feedback of improvements and influx of new resources drive the growth pattern. Each new generation of technology stands on the shoulders of its predecessors.

The modern appearance of VR appeared in 2013 and it grew fast. In 2016, the first consumer headset was released. Experts and industry practitioners take a unanimous view that VR is now on its slope of enlightenment and will reach the plateau of productivity in 2020. By that time, it is predicted to get mainstream and reach a market value of $40 billion around the globe. Things are changing fast: capabilities increased by thousands and billions for less cost in just decades.
